Your first visit!

We look forward to meeting you!

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be your dental health care provider. We are confident in our ability to provide you the most relaxed and comfortable experience possible.

During your first visit, Dr. Bradley takes the time to listen to your dental health needs, concerns and expectations. Any questions or concerns will be addressed before proceeding. We will take required x-rays, and Dr. Bradley will perform a comprehensive dental examination.

Based on the x-rays and examination, Dr. Bradley is able to provide you with a dental health report. Any problem areas will be discussed, including any treatments available, alternatives, or other options. You will have the time to ask and have answered any questions that you may have about any possible treatment. Dr. Bradley takes a conservative approach to your dental care and only suggests or recommends treatments or services that you truly need, in a no sales pressure environment.

We have a few recommendations to make your first visit even easier ...

  • You can fill out the new patient paperwork at your convenience at home and bring it with you to your first appointment. We cannot start your exam until this is complete so it saves you some time in the office.
  • Don't do a heavy duty brushing before your first visit. Patients who haven't visited a dentist in several years may attempt to "spring clean" before their visit, and end up irritating their gums. Years of plaque buildup on your teeth won't be taken off by brushing. Since the most common basic dental cleaning schedule would involve a visit every 6 months, you're going to have some build-up no matter how well you brush.

Oh yes, for the nervous patients among you, please know that many advancements in dental healthcare have taken place that reduce or remove many of the sources of pain or anxiety that people have traditionally associated with dental work. Most patients today tell us that they "never felt a thing!" Even the anesthetic shot now comes with a topical anesthetic prior to the injection. Most patients never even know that they received a shot. Many advancements like this in our field of healthcare have dramatically increased the comfort level of our patients. Again, we are very confident in our ability to provide you with the care you need and have you comfortable throughout any dental procedure you may choose to have.
